Delete your Ground Layer account

Delete it in the app (immediate)

Sign in to the Ground Layer app, then go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your sign-in stops working on every device and your personal profile is removed.

Or request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We verify the request against the account email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted: your sign-in, your personal profile (name and email), and your seat in every organisation. Your name and email are also redacted from your organisation's activity history, which afterwards shows "Deleted user".

Kept: your organisation's freight records (requests, quotes, agreements and shipment documents) — these are business records that belong to the organisation, not to any one member — and redacted audit entries retained for security, fraud prevention and record integrity, as described in our privacy policy.
