Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ground Layer (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. The Service
Ground Layer is a freight coordination platform. It lets freight operators raise requests for quotation, uses an AI assistant to collect and organise transporter quotes and messages, and gives both sides a shared record of what was agreed and how the shipment progressed. Accounts are provisioned by invitation through an organisation.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, including the information you enter about shipments, rates and — where applicable — the drivers you enroll, for whom you confirm you have obtained consent.
4. The AI Assistant and Liability
The AI assistant records, organises and relays information; commercial decisions — which quote to accept, which transporter to allocate, what rate to agree — are made and confirmed by people. Agreements bind when both sides confirm them in the Service. Ground Layer is not a party to the freight contracts formed between organisations and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from them.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users. You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account, or groundlayer.io/delete-account).
